Adopt a Senior Pet month

Did you know that November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month?
HSCC has several senior animals that are still waiting for a loving home to live out their days, and they will be our featured Pets of the Week for the month.  Seniors are normally so grateful for the extra love and attention, and they still have a lot of love in their hearts to give as well.
Stop by the Tahlequah Library and see our nice display that features the HSCC senior pets.
Our sweet Rosie is a wonderful gal. She is in a foster home so has learned what it is like to live in a home environment.  She is a lady and will be one in your house as well.
Cataline is a such a sweetheart too.  Will say she would prefer to be an only cat but that is just so she can spoil you with all of her attention.
If interested in either Rosie, Cataline or any of our senior pets, click on the appropriate link to fill out an adoption application today. Their adoption fee is half off through Saturday, November 10th.

Pets of the Week!

This week we are featuring Precious and Cataline.

If you like shy girls that flutter their eyelashes your way, then you just might fall in love with Princess.

However, if you prefer an outgoing and look at me kind of gal, then Cataline would fit the bill.

Both these lovely pets have half off their adoption fees through Saturday, August 11th. Fill out an adoption application and mention this email, that you saw them on our Facebook page or that you saw them featured in the Tahlequah Daily Press.

By the way, we give a shout out to the Tahlequah Daily Press for weekly featuring our Pets of the Week.

Tractor Supply Contest

Hey, HSCC members, volunteers, supporters.

Tractor Supply is holding another Rescue Your Rescue contest whereby they will be donating “$25,000 in grants to 10 animal nonprofits that deserve a boost.” To win a grant, customers need to nominate their favorite shelter by Wednesday, August 8 at the following website:

Time is short, but let’s all give it the ol’ college try to receive one of the ten grants by nominating HSCC as our favorite shelter by Wednesday. Thanks all for a great collective effort.
