Hello everyone,
It’s that time of year again, time for the annual fundraising letter.
It’s a thank you and an update.

Two articles I want to share today are from OneGreenPlanet. The first of the two lists five reasons to adopt a pet. (Although, we know there are 500 reasons to adopt.)
“you can choose from a wide selection of animals at your local shelter to find your ideal pet without supporting bad breeding practices or taking on a responsibility and expense you’re not ready to handle. People give up pets for a variety of reasons, including divorce, financial problems and the owner’s illness, none of which have anything to do with the pet’s temperament and health. Whether you’d prefer a mixed breed or purebred, a young pup or an elder dog, a shelter near you probably has the companion you’re looking for. Plus, when people ask you where you got such a nice pet, you can proudly say you rescued them!”

Here’s Mikie. He’s a sweet young guy. He loves to play and would love a nice family to play with.
Meet Donnie. He’s a sweet guy with a half-mask face.
Diamond is a lovely date. She’s a great listener and always is in a good mood.
I hope you all are doing great! I am in disbelief that the year has gone by so quickly! Since it’s almost Thanksgiving I wanted to share this image I found on a great blog. It has some safety points to consider when sharing holiday food with your pet. I also was sent a video that restored my faith in humanity. And last I have some good news for holiday shoppers that want to benefit the shelter.
This was shared on The Lazy Pit Bull. This blog is great! I recommend visiting this blog.
