3x your impact! From March 12-31, Amazon is tripling the donation rate on your first smile.amazon.com purchase! Go to smile.amazon.com/ch/73-1409570 and Amazon donates to Humane Society of Cherokee County.
It is Saint Paw-tricks Day Shelter Drive month at the Tahlequah Petsense. If you buy a pawprint or clover, Merrick will donate food to the HSCC shelter. If Tahlequah Petsense sells the most paws and clovers in the Petsense world, HSCC will win a free pallet of food.
So stop by Petsense during the month of March and get your name on a pawprint or clover and help feed an HSCC animal at the same time.
Also plan on visiting HSCC at Petsense to help celebrate Saint Paw-tricks Day on Saturday, March 17th.
As always, thanks for helping out the animals of HSCC.
Starting today our dog walking hours are changing to winter hours.
Wednesday and Thursday will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday will stay at their same time of 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The HSCC is hiring a Shelter Facilitator soon and we are collecting resumes to begin our search for the best candidate.
A Shelter Facilitator will be responsible for quite a few duties and will need to have a great love for animals and their rescue. Please look over the PDF of the Shelter Facilitator job description and if you are interested in the job then please send your resumes to our shelter email, email@example.com.
Shelter Facilitator JOB DESCRIPTION
The HSCC will be accepting resumes through April 1st, 2015 (date may be extended).
We are so thankful for our volunteers. Even though it was bitterly cold today, these brave souls still showed up to help out. Some members of the NSU Harry Potter Club and the Paranomal club came out to the shelter and raked some leaves, cleaned and reorganized one of our sheds, and walked some dogs.
