HSCC is run by volunteers. Therefore we do not have full time staff to answer our phone. Please leave a voice mail with your name, phone # and the reason you are calling. Please make sure your voice mail is set up and not full so we can leave you a message if you don’t answer. A volunteer will return your call when available or email us at humanecherokeecounty.gmail.
We are not an emergency service so if you have an animal emergency, please contact your veterinarian.
Lost, Found or Animal in Need
If you are contacting us about an animal in need, lost or found, or to rehome, please email a good photo to the humanecherokeecounty@gmail.com. Please include your name, phone #, when the animal was lost or found, and where the animal was lost or found. If l in, please include the reason for rehoming, any behavior issues, and vet information about the animal. We are a no kill shelter with limited space so cannot bring one in until one goes out.
